Crownclash needs Minecraft: Java Edition 26.3 with Fabric and the Crownclash mod. Pick the way that suits you. Both get you the same screens in game.

Sign in with Discord, see your team and the standings, and start Minecraft with everything set up. Updates itself. Windows 10 and 11.

Just the mod

NO LAUNCHER

Prefer your own setup? Use a modpack file with the Modrinth App or Prism, or drop the jar into your Fabric mods folder. Works on Windows, macOS and Linux.

  • .mrpack with the same mods the launcher uses
  • Or the bare jar, which needs Fabric API
  • Add play.crownclash.de as a server

BEFORE YOU OPEN IT

Windows will show a blue warning. That's expected.

The launcher isn't signed with a paid code-signing certificate yet, so Windows doesn't know us. It shows “Windows protected your PC” for every new app like this. The portable zip shows it too.

  1. Click “More info”.
  2. Check that the publisher line says “Unknown publisher” and the file is CrownclashLauncher.exe.
  3. Click “Run anyway”.

Not comfortable with that? Use “Just the mod” above. It needs no exe at all.

What it touches

Only its own folder, %APPDATA%\.crownclash, with its own copy of Mojang's launcher, Fabric and the mods. Your normal Minecraft and other launchers stay untouched.

What it never sees

Your Microsoft password. You sign in to Minecraft in Mojang's own launcher window, and to Discord in your own browser.

How to check it

Every file is built by our public CI. Compare the SHA-256 below with the one on the build page before you run it.

Setting up the mod yourself

  1. Install FabricFabric Loader for Minecraft 26.3 from fabricmc.net, or let the Modrinth App do it with the .mrpack.
  2. Add the modsPut crownclash.jar and Fabric API into the mods folder. Sodium and Lithium are recommended.
  3. JoinStart the game and click “Join Crownclash” on the title screen, or add play.crownclash.de.
  4. Link your accountOn crownclash.de, open your account and type the code it shows with /link in game.
